Why Sacred Music Matters at a Catholic Wedding
The Second Vatican Council affirmed that sacred music is "a necessary or integral part of the solemn liturgy." Your wedding Mass is first and foremost a liturgy — and the music should reflect that dignity. Gregorian chant and sacred polyphony have served the Church's wedding rites for centuries, lifting the hearts of the faithful toward God and placing the sacrament of marriage within the great tradition of Catholic worship.
Gaudium Verum singers are trained in authentic liturgical practice. We don't perform at weddings — we pray at them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you sing at a wedding outside the Denver area?
Yes. We have sung at weddings throughout Colorado and are open to travel. Travel expenses are billed at cost. Contact us with your location and date for availability.
Do you sing at Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) weddings?
Absolutely. We are experienced with the Extraordinary Form (Traditional Latin Mass) and its proper Gregorian chant propers, ordinaries, and sequence. We work with clergy and couples to observe all the rubrics of the traditional nuptial Mass.
Can we request specific songs?
Yes, within the guidelines of the Roman Catholic liturgy. We help couples choose music that is both personally meaningful and liturgically appropriate. Music that is not sacred in character is not permitted during Mass but may be appropriate at a reception.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking at least 3–6 months in advance, especially for spring and fall Saturdays. Reach out as soon as your date and venue are confirmed.
Do you work with the parish music director?
Yes. We are happy to collaborate with your parish's music director and always defer to the pastor's preferences for the liturgy. We bring our own music library but can also supplement or support an existing parish program.
Can you provide music for the wedding rehearsal?
One rehearsal is included in all wedding packages. Additional rehearsals can be arranged at the standard formation rate.
